Meet Rachael

Woven Library was born out of a love for hand crafted, practical pieces with a thoughtful, feminine aesthetic. With a background in costume for film, Rachael Blair has a passion for storytelling through clothing and focuses on producing garments and accessories from beautiful, natural and locally sourced fabrics. Believing that variety adds a lot of joy to life, Rachael continues to work as a costume designer alongside developing Woven Library, and is always keen to learn and develop new creative skills.

5 Mill Road

Everything you see here at Woven Library is designed, hand cut and then sewn at the foot of Slemish Mountain in the north of Ireland in an old woolen mill. Occasionally the studio is open to the public in the form of specially curated open days. Community and connection is at the heart of the Woven Library ethos and we look forward to gathering with you at some point soon.

Over time it is the hope that Woven Library will grow into a beautiful home for a community who value connection, craftmanship and spending time building meaningful memories with loved ones. Everything made at the WL Mill is made carefully with this ethos in mind. Growing against the grain mindfully and slowly.
